THIS is a VERY RARE white label test pressing of Depeche Mode's In Your Room 12BONG24 five track 12" EP that was manufactured for Mute Records in 1994. It has no writing on the label and is housed in a generic white die cut paper inner sleeve. Only a very small number of this test pressing were made as there was a bespoke promo 12" that was made for promo purposes (also up for sale in my auctions).
The white labels of this title would literally have been produced as a 'test' that there were no flaws in the pressing or mastering, and used by those closely associated with the band and label, prior to the commercial pressing being sanctioned. IT RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE: THIS TEST PRESSING HAS NOT BEEN OFFERED ON DISCOGS FOR NEARLY NINE YEARS. 

It is enclosed in an EXTREMELY RARE 26" x 13" (65x33cm) PROOF SLEEVE of the same 12 BONG 24 version of the single, which has been hand folded once in the middle to act as a cover for the record. 

It is one of several original DEPECHE MODE records/promo art/display items from the 1980s/1990s to be listed in March, along with many more '80s/'90s promo posters, vinyl, tapes, postcards, etc. from other independent artists and labels.

CONDITION: Vinyl: MINT Never played, stored since new. Proof sleeve: Hand folded around the record. There is one crease near the top of the 'spine' and a small crack in the print near the bottom of it. Other than that the general impression is close to like new with minimal signs of handling. NOTE: The 'spine' is actually the hand folded centre of the 26" x 13" proof print. 

PLEASE carefully examine the photographs using the zoom function. The photos of the sleeve form part of the description of the condition.

A NOTE ABOUT WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSINGS: Produced for the record label in very small quantities (sometimes as few as 10) to check that there are no faults in the mastering or pressing processes. Sometimes there are enough pressed for promo purposes (typically around 50-100).

PROOF SLEEVES: Extremely low numbers are made in order to check the printed design before the printing and manufacture of the record sleeve begins.

Everything I list is on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos. 

I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.

PACKAGING: Very carefully packed in strong cruciform mailer.
