You are buying a new/never played In the Sign of Evil/Apocalyptic Raids by Sodom/Hellhammer. Obviously here are the two most stinking evil slabs of first wave black metal ever conceived. Side A is the Sodom EP and Side B is the Hellhammer EP, likewise their artwork graces the front and back jackets. Said jacket is a wonderful glossy gatefold with a couple pinup models for the inside spread ha ha. I have not played this copy but can confirm the sound quality is excellent and these are some of my favorite recordings (a must own for any metalhead). However, there is a big issue that will deter many, the last song on the Sodom side (Burst Command Til War) is missing even though it is listed on the label. Anyone can verify by counting the tracks on the record. 4 songs for Sodom and 4 songs for Hellhammer, any version you see of this release has the same pressing. Also, there were 4 versions made: black, grey marbled, red and blue. Technically this is the 5th made (a double mistake version!) from all the leftover pellets and boy does it show, look at that lovely vomit vinyl. So why would I recommend this? Well it looks and sounds great, it's the only way to listen to Apocalyptic Raids without flipping, plus you got 80% of In the Sign of Evil as "bonus tracks" ha ha. Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve (record outside jacket) to prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Thanks for looking.
