USO Club 7",  "The Voice Letter" disc.  There are tears on the edges. Nonetheless an important artifact from the WW2 era 1940's.  There is static and bumps. I had to lift needle a few times to get past skips but plainly heard my uncle talking about his bivouac  in or near York, PA.

The person on record is my uncle talking to my aunt. He was in the service on bivouac.  This is not all of it. I jotted down most of it I think.  I listened on my 78 turn table and plainly heard the following:
Having big time on bivouac.  Lots to see and do. Guess you're doing all right. Did you have a good dinner? Haven't had any yet so far tonight.
Hope he'll be found. ( I know he and my daddy had a friend missing in the war from a town near where they lived in Alabama.) Did you go to church tonight? Pretty warm, weather fine, not too cold.
Two day bivouac, pretty cold, overshoes froze to shoes.  Overall not very bad. See you on the next side.  My uncle Sings "Someone waits for me" He also says "going to York, PA." Load up with Hershey bars. Stationed pretty close. Got a few good meals.
Please inspect the pictures. This is a priceless piece of history to display.
