THE PENGUINS EARTH ANGEL EXC 1ST PRESS 78RPM 1954 Very nice copy of this early doowop classic. Appears to have had little play—just light sleeve/storage wear to the shellac. Includes original plain brown sleeve. According to Discogs, this particular pressing was the very first, released June 1954. It’s quite scarce as you can see from the few copies offered on eBay, as well as the prices. My mom remembers these guys performing at her High School in 1955! An investment in music history! Please email me any questions before buying and I will answer promptly. I know how to pack shellac records! WILL REQUIRE A 78 NEEDLE TO PLAY CORRECTLY.
