* COMBINED POSTAGE:
*
* I do offer combined postage on my albums / singles / CDs
* However EBAY have a problem at the moment. See here:
* https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/Issues-with-customers-unable-to-request-a-combined-postage/td-p/7363318
* So, if you would like combined postage, I currently have to do so manually via a refund.
* Please message me before or immediately after your purchase and I will advise on the discount I can arrange.
*
*
* If EBAY have resolved the problem, use the option to "add the items to your basket". You can then go to your basket
* and choose to ask to "Request total from seller". If it works I will get a message and reply to you. If it fails you will
* see a "RED BANNER" saying "Seller doesn’t offer combined postage discount". This is a lie from EBAY. I do offer discounts
* so just message me instead. (before or just after your purchase)
*
* Thanks for understanding
*

* POSTAL CHARGES
*
* Please note that EBAY also charge a final fee on all costs and that includes the shipping costs.
* It is currently about 12% which means my postal charge has to include their fees (yes it is a total rip-off)
* As an example my current postage charge of £4.99 equates to my costs of:
* £3.45 for 48hr tracked with Royal mail
* £0.70 for the cardboard box
* £0.60 for EBAY'S fees
* £0.30 for bubble wrap, sellotape, stickers, printing labels and fuel.
* This comes to £5.05 but doesn't include the V.A.T charged by EBAY which I cannot claim back.
*
* As you can see I make nothing from postage, but I do ensure that you get your items in the best and quickest way possible.

* OFFERS
*
* I do not show an "OFFER" option on my listings. However, if you would like to make a sensible offer within 5-10% of
* my asking price, I may take you up on it. It will depend on how I have priced the listing, how rare the item is
* and if I think the offer is fair and genuine.

*
* WHY BUY VINYL?
*
* This is how most of these artists expected you to listen to their music. Nearly all my collection was recorded before the
* advent of "digital". This makes the sound of the performances much truer to how they sounded originally. These are not over-
* produced or enhanced using modern techniques. The artists, producers and engineers actually listened to the sound quality and
* based their production of the songs on what they heard. Yes you can get new copies of these on digital media, but they have
* been "re-mastered" and in many cases not with the express permission of the original artists. So, if you want to hear it as
* the artists heard it, you need to hear the vinyl copies.
* The other huge advantage when buying vinyl (especially albums) is the huge amount of extra details you get. The record cover
* usually contains much more information / pictures than a CD or digital download. Sometimes they even come with extra material
* such as posters or free singles. However the real joy of owning vinyl recordings is the tactile pleasure of holding on to a
* piece of history that may be over 40 years old. Anyone can press start on an MP3 file and most know how to play a CD, but
* taking the time to prepare your record deck and cleaning the album before playing is a just as much of a joy as listening to
* the music you get to hear.

*
* GRADING
*
* GRADES BELOW CAN HAVE A "+" UPGRADE TO THEM IF NEEDED
*
* Near Mint (nM): The vinyl appears mint in normal indoor light. If there is a defect, it should be very hard to see in normal
* indoor light. A few small very minor and hard to see sleeve scuffs may appear on the vinyl under a good light source. Cover
* or sleeve might have couple of small defects such as small very light foxing spots, a few small very light crease marks etc.
* Labels may have a couple of light spindle marks. It will play with audio clear throughout with just a couple of soft clicks
* here and there maybe
*
* Excellent (EX): The vinyl can have a few very light hairlines or sleeve scuffs, some light signs of having been played, maybe
* some very light static at intros and breaks and a few soft clicks through out, but there will still be excellent audible
* quality. The cover/sleeve might have light wear very light ring marks, a few light crease/bend marks and, or very light foxing
* spots etc. Labels might have some light spindle marks
*
* Very good (VG): The vinyl has been played many times, it can have more light crackle and some light pops here and there but
* have no major deterioration in audio quality, it could have more noticeable surface marks, hairlines and sleeve scuffs and
* light scratches. Labels may have spindle marks and some light wear, foxing spots, name, sticker or residue mark from sticker,
* but no tears. The cover could have light ring marks, some crease/bend marks, light edge/corner wear, small stains, writing,
* tiny splits or tears and foxing etc. There will be NO big, major seam splits or tears
*
* Good (GOOD): The vinyl will have lots of scratches and deeper scuff marks over it's surface and has been played so much that
* the audio quality has noticeably deteriorated with more crackles and pops throughout. May skip on 1 track and vinyl may have
* a slight warp. Labels will display poorly with a number of different defects, tears, damage, heavy spindle wear etc. The
* cover and contents suffer from creasing, bend marks, heavy crease/bend marks, wear to edges/corners, bigger edge/seam splits,
* lots of writing, stains and foxing etc

I am clearing down my personal record and CD collection. I am not a general Ebay seller looking to make a living from this.
I have been collecting vinyl since the late 1970s and CDs since they became a thing.
My collection is quite large and I am offering them as often as I can.
Most have just been collected and never played by me, although some have. As an example I bought my first CD a whole five years before I had a CD player.
The record / CD condition is based on my understanding of the system and is my fair appraisal of each records / CDs condition.
I will rate the vinyl or CD, the record cover or CD box, the sleeve and any inserts seperately (see above).
If I see any defects (minor or major) I will point them out.
However these are second-hand and should be noted as such.
I take as many photos of the records / CDs as I can, so please check the images carefully before you bid. If you would like more photos of any item, just ask and I will help as much as I can.
The photos are of the record / CD you will receive. There are no stock photos here.
I pack them in specialised record shipping boxes. I also add bubble wrap and add FRAGILE stickers when the value dictates it.
I try to ship nearly every day, so you get your records / CDs quickly and I only charge the cost to me.
Some more expensive purchases may require insurance which I add as a postal cost.
Please don't ask for free postage, as I only charge at less than cost.
All "paid items" are sent next day (unless next day is a Saturday or Sunday when they go out on Monday)
These records / CDs have been collected over many years and have been well taken care of. Nearly all are in the same condition as I bought them, many over 35 years ago.
Where possible I list all extra items contained with them and show photos.
Nearly of my vinyl has been stored in protective covers. They have all been kept away from heat and sunlight. I don't supply the protective covers in the sale as they are too large for the packaging.
As I said earlier, many have not been played by me. The grading I give is based on visual inspection only as I don't want to risk any degradation by playing them.
I no longer own a good quality record player, so I cannot test them. But as many of you know, an intense visual inspection is the prefered way of evaluating the condition of all vinyl records.
Please take the time to view all the photos provided, as this works both for me and for you, the buyer. Again, if you are unsure of the quality of any item, please ask for extra photos before bidding. I am always happy to oblige.
My collection is quite eclectic, so if you enjoy music as much as I do, please add me to your favourite sellers to keep a track of my offerings.
Finally, rare vinyl record prices are increasing year on year. As far as I can see they are an investment. They certainly were for me. I really enjoyed playing some of my albums and the ones that were well played will not be sold here as they are not in the condition I would like to buy myself.
If you are looking for something else by any of the artists I offer, drop me a message and I'll let you know what else I have.
Thanks.
