GG Allin-Always Was, is, and Always Shall Be LP 1988 Black & Blue Records: Next to the original Orange Records pressing from 5 years prior, this is just about the coolest edition of the debut from GG Allin & The Jabbers you can hope for. Six addition tracks from early eps bring this up to 17 songs in total. This was GG at his most coherent and melodic, yet still a wonderful slice of high-energy proto punk. The jacket is thick stock tip on style cardboard with paste on artwork, and features the unique cover art of GG and pal eating from the trash at McDonald’s. Aside from some slight corner dings, it remains in wonderful shape. The vinyl appears to be unplayed. Please have a look at the other GG Allin albums in this week’s listings. VG++/VG++
