Vinyl: VG/VG+, light surface scratches with nice gloss, low noise, low pops/crackle. Cleaned with pro-grade vacuum system prior to complete playthrough on Rega P2, great overall sound, low noise between tracks
Matrix Run-out Side A (etched): SMAS 1-2653-A1 IAM in triangle (stamped)
Matrix Run-out Side B (stamped/etched): SMAS 2-2653-A4 IAM in triangle (SMA and IAM Triangle stamped, all other characters etched)
Black rainbow label without "subsidiary" rim text; no spindle wear side 1, very light on side 2, intact overall very clean label
“13” label applied to label on Side A by prior owner for cataloguing
Sleeve: VG/VG+, edge and corner wear commensurate with age, no splits
Bright colors on front of cover, especially the sky blue which is often worn; yellow rim at top of front cover; color from inner gatefold picture wraps around on the front right edge; clean and extremely presentable, spine very good and fully readable
Slight wear on red on back cover but no substantial ring wear evident, very nice
Inner gatefold bright and clean, virtually no wear, presents perfectly
Inner Sgt. Pepper Cut-Outs Insert: VG/VG+ condition, very minor creasing and light ring impression, great colors, slightly rounded corners
Generic white paper inner sleeve, missing psychedelic pink sleeve
Pressed at Capitol Records Scranton pressing plant identified by an etched triangle with I above A M.
SMAS 2653 on back cover, SMAS-2653 on labels, 2653 on spine.
