GEORGE HARRISON, All Things Must Pass, UK three LP box set.

STCH 639 - UK orange / green Apple record labels.

A UK issue in original condition, featuring:

1. George Harrison’s first ‘post Beatles’ LP, featuring a UK box set containing three LPs,

2. a more unusual box as the inner facing panels are in white and not in the unusual ‘orange’ colour,

3. all three records feature the original 1U/1U, 1U/1U, 1U/1U and 1U/1U engraved record matrix,

4. comes with its three original period EMI ‘Patent Nos’ inner sleeves.

CONDITION:

THE BOX: the UK box is in overall excellent condition, apart from some signs of ‘ageing’ to the front and to the inner left panel. The rear panel of the box is in excellent, clean condition. The / hinge to the box is in excellent+ condition and shows nearly no wear and tear, the spine is in excellent+ condition and again shows little signs of any wear and tear, all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The four corners of the box have remained clean and sharp. There are NO repairs to the box, no sellotape, NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the box.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are in excellent condition and are the three original EMI, ‘Patent Nos 1,125,555’ inner sleeves. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the three inner sleeves.

THE RECORDS: record one, each side is in excellent+ condition. Record two, side two is in excellent++ condition and side three is in excellent+ condition. Record three, side five is in excellent+ condition and side six is in excellent+ condition. Note - the condition of the ‘playing surfaces’ have been judged under ‘normal daylight’ conditions. Each of the ‘playing surfaces’ have remained very dark and glossy.

The records ‘engraved’ matrix is: 

record one - side one - YEX 817 1U, side two - YEX 818 1U,

record two - side three - YEX 819 1U, side two - YEX 820 1U,

record three - side five - YEX 821 1U, side six - YEX 822 1U,

The records ‘engraved’, ‘mother / stampers’ are:

record one, side one - ‘2 OM’, side two - ‘2 OP’,

record two, side three - ‘2 GAO’, side four - ‘2 GMA’,

record three, side five - ‘2 GRG’, side two, ‘3 GRH’,

THE AUDIO: 
record one, side one plays very good++ with some ‘ticks’ / ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side two plays very good++ with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there.

record two, side three plays very good++ with some ‘ticks’, ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side four plays very good++ with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there.

record three, side five plays very good++ with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side six plays very good++ with some ‘pops’ and ‘crackle’ heard here and there.

Each of the records lay flat on the turntable and play with a full, loud powerful period ‘stereo’ sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: record one, side one is in excellent++ condition, side two is in near MINT condition. Record two, each side is in excellent+ condition. Record three, side five is in MINT condition and side six is in near MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
