Vinyl Side 1: VG+

I have no idea why my husband even has this - he is not a Kiss fan, to put it mildly. Though he did put his "name" on the label (the word "Crazy" is written on both sides). I doubt this was ever played. Anyway, the record is in great condition. There is some minor scuffing/smudging (see Note below).

Vinyl Side 2: VG+

Again, excellent condition, no scratches. Some minor scuffing/smudging. There is a spot on the right edge of the record - it's before the music would start. I photographed it close-up. I'm not sure what it is. It didn't come off with a gentle rub, so I left it alone. I don't want to cause damage. I doubt it affects anything.

*****Note: I use a velvet record brush to remove lint and then I visually inspect the records for scratches and the like. I do not have the time to clean them all, nor do I have the equipment to do it professionally. When I say there's "smudging", it means that there are some marks on the album which are not scratches and will more than likely come off with a good cleaning.

Album Cover: VG

Some minor disc/shelf wear and some minor edge wear.

Inner Sleeve: VG+

The liner is the original Kiss liner. It's in excellent condition.

ABOUT THE SELLER:

I created this eBay profile specifically for selling my record collection as well as my husband's. We are downsizing, so going through things we don't need and no longer want. We haven't played vinyl albums for longer than I care to admit!

My albums are mostly 80's and 90's rock and hard-rock, with some obscure titles in the mix. Most of my husband's albums are classic 60's and 70's rock. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a specific album. I can't get them all listed at once, so you never know what I might have left!

GRADING SYSTEM:

I am using the Goldmine Grading Guide to grade these albums. I won't have anything I consider Mint. Most are in VG and VG+ condition. I have posted the description of the grading guide below, for your information.

I will photograph and detail in my comments any flaw I find. I have found that vinyl is extremely difficult to photograph - there is always a glare coming from somewhere -I'm doing my best. Even the tiniest piece of lint and the most insignificant scratches show up in the photographs, so for you, the buyer, that is a good thing. You're seeing things the naked eye doesn't even detect!

Please contact me if you have any questions, would like additional or specific photographs, or would like any more information.

SHIPPING:

I will ship in boxes specifically made for shipping vinyl albums. I will use the USPS Media Mail service for shipping unless a buyer specifies otherwise. I will gladly combine shipping. If you would like more than one album, please add items to your cart and request an invoice before you pay.

GOLDMINE GRADING GUIDE

Mint (M)

The item and container are absolutely perfect in every way. To qualify as Mint, the item must never have been played and is possibly still sealed.

Near Mint (NM)

The item is nearly perfect. Near Mint (NM) media has more than likely never been played, and if it has, there will be no imperfections during playback. The item should show no obvious signs of wear. The cover or container can have very minor defects, but it should have no folds, seam splits, scratches, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

The item will show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects are of a cosmetic nature and do not affect the actual playback. In theory, a Very Good Plus (VG+) item should sound the same as a Near Mint (NM) one. Surfaces may show some signs of wear, such as slight scuffs or very light scratches, and slight warps that do not affect the sound are okay. Paper products like sleeves will have some wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a small seam-split. In general, it plays perfectly, and if not for some minor aesthetic wear, it would be Near Mint.

Very Good (VG)

The item's defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Wear will start to be noticeable, such as with light scratches on vinyl (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels, covers, and sleeves may be marred by writing or have tape, stickers, and residue attached. However, a VG item will not have all of these problems at the same time.

Good (G), Good Plus( G+)

An item in Good (G) or Good Plus (G+) condition can be played through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise, scratches, crackling, or visible wear. A container, cover, or sleeve will have scratches or seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, or other defects will also be present.

Poor (P), Fair (F)

The item is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The container or cover could be cracked, water-damaged, and heavily marred by wear or writing. If it is a vinyl record, the album cover and inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
