The White Album
Apple SWBO-101 / with original full color photos. Los Angeles pressing.
Numbered #A 0272678
(pertaining to the number sequence above, please note the following):
Lead character of "A" followed by a blank space. West Coast copies from about 210,000 up to just over 500,000 can be found in this style. The "A" looks like it was added with a different stamper. Apparently, the addition of an "A" made US releases more closely follow most foreign releases of the LP.

Very Good Visual / Plays Excellent to NM
LP: (Graded) Very Good, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. Has sleeve scuffs and hairlines, all of which are superficial and seen for the most part in harsh direct light - but nothing that presents a tracking issue as play tested (see below for specifics on playback grading).
Still has great plating gloss and labels are still in
good shape, but with a few spindle trails. Is thoroughly and impeccably clean and turntable ready. Beyond those generalizations, let's outline Sides 1 through 4, more in detail.
Sides 1 through 3 are safely within VG or better and the plating is still such that what you see is not in any way attributable to a worn stylus situation, because no groove wear is visible - but more having to do with micro-particles abrasing the upper surface when removing and returning the LPs to the innersleeves. Side 4, predictably, has a fair piece less in the way of surface wear and so is much more a comfortable fit in the Very Good Plus category. Sides 1 through 3 lean in that direction, but just not quite enough to merit VG+ classification.
Play Graded - Excellent to Near Mint. On the below scale, this LP would be in the neighborhood of from 8.7 to 9.2, in relation to the below graph - a 10 being comparable to the absolute lack of extraneous noise as that of a Compact Disc. The 8.7 score in terms of surface noise at maximum on Side 3 - only pertains to a small number of tracks that are semi-acoustic in content and in some of the intervals between tracks. Mostly, the ratings are as follows, as contrasted with the perfect score of 10 on the graph, which is the total absence of surface noise.
Side 1: 9.2 or better
Side 2: 9.2 or better
Side 3: 8.7 (tracks # 3 & # 7) - 9.2 for the rest of the side.
Side 4: 9.1 or better
Cover: (Graded) Very Good - medium degree of ring / shelf / edgewear but not trashed and has all solid seams and spine.
