Per Wikipedia, Cosmo's Factory is the fifth studio album by Creedence Clearwatere Revival released by Fantasy Records in July, 1970. Six of the album's eleven tracks were released as singles in 1970, and all of them charted in the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album spent nine consecutive weeks in the number one position on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified 4xplatinum by the RIAA in 1990. The album up for bid is a 1970 first pressing by RCA's Rockaway pressing facility. The record consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 42+ minutes.
The cover is VG condition for a 53 year old album. There is mild wear on the bottom edges and corners, but there are no split seams, tears or markings. There is mild disc wear on the front cover (see photos), but the back cover is flawless.
The inner sleeve is original but has a small split seam. The recording is also enclosed in an anti static vinyl sleeve for added protection from dust accumalation.
The recording has been cleaned and tested with Audacity. There are no skips on the tracks. There is mild noise with one mild "click" on Side 1, track 6 (Run Through The Jungle) and one mild "click" on Side 2, track 4 (I Heard It Through The Grapevine) that does not interfere with the listening experience. There is mild surface wear on the disc faces, but there are no detectable scratches or scuffing to the touch. The labels are intact and clean.
I always clean, listen and test every record I list on EBAY. I do this in insure that I can give as accurate a description for each album I list. I also try to follow the Goldmine standards on grading records. I do this as a service to the buyer, as well as, to maintain my own reputation.
