Animals is the tenth studio album by Pink Floyd released inJanuary 1977 through Columbia Records.  A lyrical departure from Pink Floyd's previous albums, Animals is a concept album that focuses on the sociopolitical conditions of mid 1970's Britain. Animals  reached number 2 in the UK and number 3 in the US. It initially received mixed reviews, but gained more favourable reviews in later years, and is considered one of the band's best works.  The album up for bid is a reissue by Columbia Record.  It consists of 5 tracks with a run time of 41+ minutes.
The cover is in VG condition.  Ther is mild wear on the upper and lower right corners.  There are no split seams, tears or markings on the front and back covers.  There is signs of mild disk wear and the covers (see photos).  The interior covers of this gatefold album contain black & white photos and the covers are in VG+ condition.
The inner sleeve is made of cardboard and the inner sleeves feature lyrics and are in VG condition.
The recording has been cleaned and tested with Audacity.  All tracks played clean without any skips.  There is very mild surface noise consistenting of a single mild "click" on Side 1, track 2 (Dogs).  The record surfaces are free of scratches or scuffs and the labels are clean and intact.
