Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine is the second compilation album by The Doors (following 13) and the first following the death of singer Jim Morrison. As a double album, it was released in January 1972. Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine reached number 55 on the Billboard 200. In 1980, it was certified gold by the RIAA. The album up for sale consists of 22 tracks with a run time of 99+ minutes. It contains many recording from 1966 through 1971.
The cover is in VG+ condition. There are no split seams, tears. creases or markings on the front, back and interior covers. There is very mild wear on the bottom left corner of the front cover and mild disk wear on the front cover.
The paper inner sleeves are original and intact and have photos of the Doors Discography.
The recordings have been cleaned and tested with Audacity. All tracks were played through without skips. There is occasional background noise consisting of "clicks" that are random in nature and do not significantly interfere with the listener experience. The record surfaces are clean but show only mild wear. The records surfaces retain their sheen. The labels are clean and intact. I am the original owner of this recording and can attest that the album has had minimal plays.
I always clean, listen and test every record I list on EBAY. I do this in insure that I can give as accurate a description for each album I list. I also try to follow the Goldmine standards on grading records. I do this as a service to the buyer, as well as, to maintain my own reputation.
