Per Wikipedia, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is the only studio album by Derek & the Dominoes, released in November 1970 as a double album by Atco Records. It is best known for its title track, "Layla", which is often regarded as Eric clapton's greatest musical achievement. The other band members were Bobby Whitlock (vocals, keyboard), Jim Gordon (drums, percussion), and Carl Radle (bass). Duane Allman played lead and slide guitar. Initially regarded as a critical and commercial disappointment, the recording is now recognized as one of the greatest of all time, as well as, garnering many awards. The album up for bid is a 1970 reissue by Atco and consists of 14 tracks on 2 LP's with a run time of 76+ minutes.
The cover is very good condition. There is mild wear on the corners. There is a 1and 1/2" split seam on the bottom right corner. There are no other split seams, tears, bent corners, or markings. There is faint disk wear along the top of the front cover., as well as, the back cover. There are no other signs of wear or damage. The interior covers of this gatefold album are pristine and contain candid photos of the group and their entourage.
The inner sleeves are original. One sleeve has a small split seam, the other is intact. Both recordings have been enclosed in an anti static vinyl sleeve for added protection.
The recordings have been cleaned and tested with Audacity. All tracks are clean and there are no skips. There is one "click" on Side 4 between tracks 3 and 4 in the quiet space. Otherwise, all recordings are free of surface noise. The disc surfaces retain there gloss and there are minimal signs of wear. The labels are clean and intact. I am the original owner of this recording.
