Very first and earliest Canadian MONO pressing of The Beatles 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' from its initial Summer 1967 release.  This particular copy has "A Little Help From My Friends' on the back of the sleeve AND on the record label as well.  Usually the error only appears on the sleeve.  This confirms that this Mono copy was among the first sold in stores. A few weeks later the errors were corrected. 

Gatefold Jacket: Near Mint....(The previous owner had kept the jacket inside a plastic sleeve for the last 55 years...and it shows!) Unbelievable....literally like you've just unsealed a vintage 1967 copy.  The only flaw being one lower corner sustained an inoffensive bruise.  There can't be too many vintage Canadian Pepper covers left in this condition.  The card stock used to assemble the jacket is heavy and thick. There is a slight sheen or varnish that was applied to the printed paper giving it both a glossy and a matte finish....absolutely beautiful.  The inner gatefold is equally impressive...with only a hint of the start of a split in the middle. 
Original Inner-Sleeve: Excellent....this rare 1st issue Capitol Records double-sided inner-sleeve is usually missing or in tatters when vintage copies of this album are found.  Here it is intact and only showing some normal age-related issues and one barely noticeable start of a seam split to one side. 
Cut-Out Sheet: Very Good (but incomplete) ....though only partially intact, it is the original 1st Canadian cut-out issue (with 'Litho In Canada' printed at bottom left corner) and still fortunate that it was found inside. 
Record: Fair ~ VG(+) ...The thick and heavy record visually looks to be in excellent condition. But playback revealed inconsistency in the audio with the main culprit being surface noise. (Please refer to the song by song grading below to have a better idea of what to expect) Though many of the songs sound fine, this listing is really all about the near-perfect and stunning condition of the gatefold cover and the rare combined printing errors on the label and back of the jacket.
