I Care About Vinyl
I do clean my records on a machine I designed and built myself. Even though these records look very clean, I believe that all records need to be deep-cleaned at least twice, especially older LP's. I will leave it up to the buyer to use their own method and machine to do the final deep clean these records.
I use a strong halogen side light sometimes looking at small marks with a strong hand-held lens inspect them before assigning a visual grade.
Junior Thompson with The Meteors "Raw Deal b/w Mama's Little Baby"
Excellent original 1956 10" 78 rpm shellac disc of this Meteor Records (#5029) 50's Rock 'n' Roll release.
VG+/NM- visual condition on sides 1 and 2 respectively. The VJM 78 rpm grading system would classify this as an VG+/E+. Each side still has a very good gloss. Side 1 has a patch of scratch marks in one area that might make some noise. Side 2 has only two very light and hard-to-see hazy scuff marks. No cracks or chips. Well-cleaned and vacuumed with my VPI record cleaner.
No play grade on this as it is a 78 rpm cut and I am not set up to play this. Hard-to-find on 10" 78 rpm.
Offered in a fresh new white jacket and outer sleeve.
This record will be shipped with full-value insurance and Registered Mail.
