Greatest is a greatest hits album by the Bee Gees. Released by RSO Records in October 1979, the album is a retrospective of the group's material from 1975 to 1979.  The album up for bid consists of 20 tracks with a run time of 82+ minutes.  It is an original 1979 pressing from PRC Recording Company's Richmond pressing facility.  Side one contains disco tracks featuring "Jive Talkin", "Night Fever", "Tragedy", "You Should Be Dancing" and "Stayin' Alive".  Side two contains ballads and featured "How Deep Is Your Love", "Too Mucjh Heaven", "Love So Right", "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away" and "Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)".  Side three consists of B-sides and album tracks such as "If I Can't Have You",  "More Than A Woman" and "Rest You Love On Me". Side three also consists of songs that spawned cover versions for other artists. Side four contains "Nights On Broadway", "Spirits (Having Flown)", and "Children of the World".
The cover is in VG+ condition.  There are no split seams, tears or markings.  There is mild wear on the bottom corners.  The front and back covers are in VG condition, but there is mild signs of disk wear on the front cover.  The interior covers of this tri-fold album are in VG+ condition and contain pictures of the brothers Gibb along with track listings.
The inner sleeves are of poly vinyl and have the Bee Gees logo.
The recordings have been cleaned and tested with Audacity.  All tracks played through without skips.  There is occasional background noise consisting of "clicks" that do not significantly interfere with the listening experience.  The record surfaces show mild wear, but there are no detectable scratches or scuffs to the touch.  The surfaces retain their gloss and the labels are clean and intact.  The sound is crisp and clear.
