Description: Last year I purchased the remaining stock from a few distros and record stores that closed down. Now I have too many boxes of 7"s. I am offering this lot of 30 EPs at a reduced price with free Media Mail shipping in the US. The bands play metal, as well as the metallic side of hardcore and grind. Many of these are on colored vinyl. These records would make a great addition to your collection.
ABORTICIDIO / LICKER 7" flexi (2015 Torture Garden Picture Company TG-74.0) Tex-Mex nuclear noise pop punkers.
ABSURDO - Barcelona 92/Vacio 7" flexi (2013 Discos Absurds 002) Hardcore punk band from Spain. These tracks were recorded whilst on tour in Norway.
ASYLUM 7" (2014 Vinyl Conflict Label VC-005) A few seconds of feedback is what passes for the calm before the storm here and the tumult that follows is one that seethes and rages across six tracks on this vinyl debut from this Richmond, VA-based band. Musically, this is clearly influenced by the revered Motörhead / Discharge combination that has served many outfits well over the years and which Asylum employs to good effect, crafting bruising songs that are hammered home with precision musicianship. Apart from the occasional guitar lead sneaking in here and there, this is a band reliant on brute force to drive the music and message home.
BLACK HOLE OF CALCUTTA 7" (2011 To Live A Lie TLAL61) Blasting grindcore from Raleigh, NC.
BROKEN CROSS - Secret Destruction 7" (2014 Apocalyptic Visions AV002) Second 7” from Swedish one-man band Broken Cross. Four brand new songs of raw metallic punk madness. FFO: G.I.S.M., Zouo, Holy Terror etc. Artwork by Dwid Hellion.
BROKEN CROSS / VEGAS 7" (2017 Apocalyptic Visions AV006) Swedish one-man band BROKEN CROSS and the elusive VEGAS deliver sonically layered metallic punk for this caustic split. Well-known and cherished within the realm of the notorious Holy Terror cult, both bands have walked similar paths for years and have now decided to team up. Features one new BROKEN CROSS song and two new VEGAS songs. Artwork by Dwid Hellion (INTEGRITY, HOLY TERROR RECORDS, VERMAPYRE).
CALLOUS - Fucking Useless 7" (2013 Deep Six Records #203)  A multi-daily supplement. A mix of Eyehategod with some Neanderthal being somewhat Corrupted and finishing off with a little Outlaw Order and you got a perfect Callous. Members from Backslider. Limited to 300 copies.
CRETINS 7" (2014 Vinyl Conflict Label VC-004) After unleashing a pummeling demo tape, CRETINS return with this six song EP – a barrage of rough, uncompromising HC punk drawing from the no-frills approach and raw power of golden era American hardcore. CRETINS are tight as nails on this EP, a wrecking machine fronted by a singer who's clearly mad at the world.
DENDRITIC ARBOR / INFINITE WASTE 7" (2016 Gloom Pit 001 / Sound Devastation Records / Xenemyx Records) Dendritic Arbor might be one of the most prolific groups in the extreme underground in the United States right now. With an average of two releases each year since their 2013 debut, Sylvan Matriarch, these psychedelic blackened grind innovators manage to balance quantity and quality brilliantly. On their new split release with Oakland grind group Infinite Waste, Dendritic Arbor expands on the queasy noise-laden formula that made last year’s Romantic Love so potent. Dendritic Arbor’s three contributions consist of two more conventional songs which bookmark an untitled, free form noise piece. It’s a balance that works nicely for the kind of unease the band crafts. While “Ishi” is a great lead-in, it’s “Snake Oil” that really showcases the band’s spastic skill in all its unsettling glory. The ten minutes of their side run by quickly, but this may require multiple plays to process due to its bizarre, ugly structure. Infinite Waste’s two contributions here are nothing to scoff at, either. For all the angular confusion of Dendritic Arbor’s approach, Infinite Waste skip all pretense and experimentation in favor of pure ferocity. It’s a pairing that works seamlessly, and with just over five minutes of material, Infinite Waste may not meander quite so much, but they deliver enough variation to show how appropriate it is to bring these forces together.
FALSE RITUAL 7" (2018 Doomsday Records 002) Hailing from Portland, False Ritual continues where Apocalypse Now left off, maybe this time with a broader influence of Swedish käng, but keeping a distinct classic Portland HC sound above all. Featuring members of Deathcharge, Bog People, Dead Hunt, and Bellicose Minds. Hand numbered and limited to 300 copies.
HORDES - Abarognosis 7" (2011 King Of The Monsters KOTM032) Ten track vinyl debut from California's HORDES. Bludgeoning and merciless hardcore. The new breed of power violence is upon us. Pressing of 310.
IGNIVOMOUS / TZUN TZU 7" (2008 Nuclear War Now! Productions ANTI-GOTH 109) Both bands are from Australia and play death metal. Pressing of 800.
KOSZMAR - Nuklearna Supremacja 7" (2015 Konton Crasher KNTN-017E) Top notch speed crazed thrash from Poland via Vancouver D-beat powerhouse Koszmar. Dezerter played with the speed of Mob 47 and the ferocity and production of modern D-Beat like D-clone, Paranoid and others comes to mind. Scorching guitars, scathing vocals in Polish and jackhammer rhythm..a total over the top raw punk assault.
LIVES OF THE OBSCURE - Deathfete 7" (2012 Glacial Records GLA011) Based out of Hudson Valley, NY, Lives of the Obscure are off of Glacial Records and are attempting to warmly introduce themselves through their upcoming release, Deathfete 7". Coming in at a little under 10 mins, Lives of the Obscure pack a remarkable amount of material into an EP bursting with nagging enthusiasm. The EP opens with "Sins Like These", which draws the listeners with it's elegantly stumbling percussion and lyrical authenticity which begs the comparison of Medications. Taking a meandering pace, the song has a hauntingly charming feeling, bringing a sensation of deep, meaningless meditation. Moving onto "Skin of the Sun", Lives of the Obscure are able to pick up their pace into a rhythm almost demanded by "Sins Like These". To me, it brings up a nostalgia towards Connor Obrest's the Desaparecidos, yet over all it is a nice, spanking new reboot of early 00's post-hardcore. Finally we move onto "Small Perspectives", a perfectly fitting ending track to the EP. Complacent yet uplifting, apathetic yet emotional, "Small Perspectives" goes a long way to wrapping the album up with its over a min. instrumental, post-rock climax that will make your ears ring with a combination of blasting bass and humble yet proud hooks.
MAD EXISTENCE 7" (2016 Vinyl Conflict Label VS-007) Debut EP from Richmond young blood, MAD EXISTENCE. One of several vital hardcore bands currently keeping things moving in this otherwise slow southern town, M.E. bring you a familiar and classic sound that is both UK 82 and NY 88. These five tracks are eight minutes of relentless, powerful hardcore punk.
MOLOCH / DISROTTED 7" (2017 Feast Of Tentacles OCT36) The band’s contribution to the split 7” with Disrotted is the most direct of these new tracks. Relatively perky by Moloch’s standards, it’s a hard-riffing no-nonsense sludge assault but still mired in a swamp of feedback and filth. The best part of split releases is getting introduced to killer new bands and Moloch have teamed up with first class partners here. Disrotted contribute seven minutes of slow motion punishment to their split 7”. The band’s brand of Burning Witch-style torment is a good foil for Moloch’s more aggressive approach, unleashing molasses-thick waves of doom that wash over the listener to create a dense, hypnotic wall of sound. Once you’ve entered the dark cloud of Disrotted’s aural domain, it’s hard to pull yourself free.
MUNDO MUERTO - Rompe El Silencio 7" (2011 Mata La Musica Discos mata13) Featuring a collection of members from Mala Sangre, The Homewreckers, and Svarta Tankar, this band has an early ‘80s sound that takes pieces from South America and Mexico and make it sound relevant today. Songs sung in Spanish are backed by a sonic push of lightly distorted guitar sounds that give the music a raw edge but hook you with their strong melody. It makes you want to just dance in the pit or pogo in your room. First time I heard the music, I got energized with excitement that I’m really going to have fun listening to this instead of the usual appreciation of music through anger. I can’t wait to see what more is in store from this foursome.
NEOLITHIC - Cult Of Ignorance 7" (2018 Deep Six Records #283) Baltimore’s NEOLITHIC emerge from the depths with their debut EP Cult of Ignorance”. The band, featuring current and former members of PULLING TEETH, SWARM OF THE LOTUS, and PUTRISECT amalgamate the guttural and horrifying sounds of underground death metal with hardcore’s confrontational and violent edge. The EP, recorded at Developing Nations Recording (INTEGRITY, FULL OF HELL, NOISEM, and more) contains vitriolic tracks of teeth-gnashing, aural warfare. NEOLITHIC carry the torch for the scene’s new blood and “Cult of Ignorance” is their ultimate statement of intent. Death Awaits!
NEOLITHIC / MARTYRDÖD 7" (2018 Deep Six Records #283) Short and to the point, Swedish D-beat bombers Martyrdod, team up with Baltimore’s newest metallic-punk offering, Neolithic, to release a maniacal split featuring one track each that leaves nothing but destruction in its wake.
NO SYSTEM - Dead Bands Tell No Tales 7" (2009 No Way Records NW-33) No System were a Boston, MA hardcore band from the mid-'80s and featured Al Quint of Suburban Voice fanzine fame on vocals and members of PTL Klub on the instruments. They used a style similar to the earlier Boston bands like DYS, Deep Wound and FUs, and on this recording, did a cover of the classic Discharge song "Doomsday."
NO TIME LEFT - Zero Effort Solution 7" (2001 Third Party Records TPR010) Thrashing HC from upstate NY.
PAINDRIVER - The Truth...Is All That Matters 7" (1997 Sound Pollution Records POLLUTE035) Not Crust, Not Grind, Just Hardcore is written on the back cover. However, some of the latter genres might even get a fat slice off the PAINDRIVER sound. It is puffed, what the stuff holds and somehow the guys sound like a mixture of older HELLNATION stuff and old Japcore heroes. That's how HC should sound!
PEASANT - Imprisoned At Birth 7" (2014 Torture Garden Picture Comany TG-71.0) Black metal from Houston, TX. Pressing of 500.
PODRIDO - Perra Vida 7" Flexi (2016 Subterranean Records SED004 / Torture Garden Picture Company) Intense grinding punk from Mexico.
RUNE 7" (2000 Clean Plate Records CP 33) Technical grind band from Ohio. White vinyl.
SACCAGE / HELLCAUST 7" (2016 Torture Garden Picture Company TG 82.0) Blackened crust from Quebec and Nova Scotian black metal. Pressing of 500.
SADISTIK EXECUTION / DOOMED AND DISGUSTING 7" (2014 Nuclear War Now! Productions ANTI-GOTH 256) While most well known for playing bass in Sadistik Exekution, Slave’s solo material depicts obscure and highly unpredictable emanations of a mind unrestrained by, but knowledgeable of, the conventions and trappings of underground metal. Indeed, there are few individuals in the underground metal scene who rival Dave Slave in terms of both talent and eccentricity. (Necrocock is one of the few that comes to mind.) It has been several years since he has executed a proper release and most of his solo projects are obscure and difficult to find. Doomed and Disgusting is the moniker of the most prominent of Slave’s current projects. Slave plays all of the instruments for Doomed and Disgusting, and the sound is every bit as unsettling and peculiar as Slave himself. With Doomed and Disgusting, Slave primarily focuses on doom of the most unconventional variety as only Dave Slave could produce. The track included on this 7”, entitled “Murder in the Dark,” is more aggressive and manic than much of the previous Doomed and Disgusting output. As such, it is perfectly suited for presentation with the Sadistik Exekution material despite the fact that the recordings are separated by more than 20 years. Of all the extreme underground metal bands to emerge from Australia, Sadistik Exekution was unquestionably among the most highly respected and generally depraved sounding. This split 7” contains Sadistik Exekution’s monumental “Suspiral” demo – the second release by the band. Originally released in 1991, it is a raw exploration of the sonic territory to which Sadistik Exekution would lay claim with its debut album, “The Magus,” that same year. Charged with the same spun out demonic psychosis that characterized all of Sadistik Exekution’s earliest work, “Suspiral” is among the most frenetic and anxiety-inducing recordings of its era.
SERQET - Oleander 7" (2018 Vinyl Conflict Label VC-018) After a fantastic demo released earlier in the year that was pressed multiple times, Serqet comes back with a much more dynamic sound, which roots out of the Peace Punk/Darkwave scene. Featuring members from: Lost Tribe, Asylum, Hot Dolphin.
TURBOKRIEG 7" (2012 Torture Garden Picture Company) In 2010 two METALLICA fans in Houston, Texas that were sick of their lame bands (PLF, INSECT WARFARE, NIBIRU) got together and formed OBNOXIOUS VOMIT. Finding another METALLICA fan to perform vocals the name was changed to POWERMAD for their first show. After an intense meeting with NASA research and development scientists- the name was changed one final time to TURBOKRIEG and a second METALLICA fan guitarist was added. 2011 saw finally the addition of a METALLICA fan bassist for Türbo's first shows outside of Texas in a small tour with DISSENT and WAR MASTER. 2012 brought multiple record releases and tours with NEEDFUL THINGS in the US and GRIDE in Europe. 2013 repeated tours with GRIDE and WAR MASTER respectively. It also saw the sad departure of founding member METALLICA fan guitarist due to his inability to play fast as a result of carpal tunnel outlaw motorcycle riding syndrome. 2014 shall bring another European tour and Türbo’s first full length record celebrating Space City’s Mega-Speed METALLICA fans’ faith and worship of the Speed Kahn. Texas scene ripping ultracore hunks never die!
VIRGIN MEGA WHORES - VMW 7" (2004 Mad Drama MAD-01 / Youth Attack YA24) Following the destructive dramatics of their highly acclaimed, widely sought after LP on Coalition, these stalwarts of snobbery return with three more low-fi sci-fi anthems to provoke and annoy. Featuring members of Das Oath, Holy Molar, and Charles Bronson, VMW soaks influeneces from early Italian New Wave, Roxy Music, and 70's Oi to present something truly obscure and enjoyable to kill to. Clear wax.
Item Condition: The records are all new and unplayed. They have been languishing in distro boxes for years and might have some edge wear (especially at the top) and minor corner bends. Price stickers (if any) are on the plastic sleeve, not the cover. Some of these records come with download codes. Even though the codes have never been used, the website (like the band or the label) may be long gone.
