BUDDY DEAN SAY MAMMA b/w IS IT SUCH A CRIME PRIVATE PRESS RARE LOCAL ROCKABILLY 45 VG+
label has ring wear & # sticker on one side & a rip on the other (see scan) vinyl has a couple of light (non-feel-able) scratches & a couple of scuffs but nice overall lustre & plays fine--no clicks, pops or skips.
The late Norman Audette of Fall River, MA self-produced this great rare rockabilly 45 under his stage-name (at the time) drawn from two of his idols at the time (Buddy Holly & James Dean). The A-side is very Holly-esque w/a very Crickets-like guitar break. The B-side is a self-penned teen ballad typical of the times & well-done.
Extremely rare.
