Per Wikipedia, Making Movies is the third studio album by Dire Straits, released in October 1980 by Warner Brothers Records in the United States.  The album was recorded at the Power Station in New York.  The album chart well in Europte and reached number 19 in the US.  Rolling Stone ranked Making Movies number 52 in their survey of the 100 Best Albums of the Eighties.  The ablum up for bid is a club edition issued under license to the Columbia House record club.  It consists of 7 tracks with a run time of 37+ minutes and includes favorites such as "Romeo and Juliet" and "Tunnel of Love".
The cover is in VG+ condition.  There are no split seams, tears, bent corners or markings on the front and back covers.  The covers are glossy.  There is slight wear on the corners.
The inner sleeve is original and in VG condition.  The is one small split seam on this paper sleeve.  The sleeve has photos and Side 1 track listings with lyrics on one side and track listings for Side 2 along with production information on the other side.
The recording has been cleaned and tested using Audacity.  All tracks played through and all tracks were free of skips.  There is infrequent background noise, consisting of "clicks".  A single "click" on Side 1, Track 1, and 2 mild "clicks" on Side 2, track 2  none of which interfere with the music.  The sound is crisp, clean and clear.  The record surfaces are glossy and show few signs of wear and nothing that is detectable to the touch.  The labels are clean and intact.  I am the original owner of this recording and it has been handled with care.  This recording is my favorite of Dire Straits' discography.
