Record Grading System
Sealed {Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is"}.
NM {Very rich shine, excellent label, light surface marks}.
NM- {A dealer interpreted borderline condition that one extra mark detracts it to this grade}.
VG++ (EXC) {Heavy gloss is present; any scratches or marks are minor and play isn?t affected}.
VG+ {Minor surface marks, scratches, scuffs, minor label wear, plays with minor audio noise}.
VG {Vinyl has visible wear, displays more scuffs and scratches but gloss is still present. Playback still has nice fidelity. There may be some light surface noise on certain low level recordings or on softer passages, but it will be even and not distracting to the listening experience, minor label wear}.
VG- {A great fill-in for rarity or any reason. Expect label wear and distracting audio noise, vinyl has many more scuffs and scratches, some will still have gloss left, others may not}.
G {We Don't List Records Normally in this condition unless they are very rare.} A record that has been played and not taken care of. Constant background noise will be present. Buyer should view records with this grade as filler copies.
