Flux of Pink Indians: The F*****g C***s Treat Us Like Pricks, Vinyl 12-inch Double LP, One Little Indian Records, 1986 (re-issue)

NB * symbol replaces letters in this listing; images edited – the white blocks on the photos do not appear on the actual record sleeve, I have edited in case ebay don't like the images

Catalogue number: TPLP3. 33rpm. Pictorial single outer sleeve – not gatefold. Plain white paper inner sleeves, with die-cut holes. This is the 1986 reissue of a 1984 double album originally released on Spiderleg Records. One disc is called ‘The F*****g C***s Treat Us Like Pricks’ and the other is called ‘The F*****g Pricks Treat Us Like C***s’. Please note, this re-issue had no lyric insert, there are no track titles listed anywhere on sleeve or labels and all four sides of the vinyl are cut so they appear to have only one track on each of them.

Matrix/run-outs (all etched): Side 1: LPTP 3 A₁ SO YOU CAN SPOT THE F***ING OBSCENITY... MPO; Side 2: LPTP 3 B₁ WHEN IT SHITS IN YOUR F***ING FACE MPO; Side 3: LPTP 3 C₁ THAT F***ING OBSCENITY IS JUST.... MPO; Side 4: LPTP 3 D₁ YOUR F***ED UP DISTORTED NORMALITY.... MPO; on all run-outs the original Spiderleg Records catalogue number is scratched out and replaced with an (incorrect) catalogue number ‘LPTP 3’; the sleeve has the correct catalogue number ‘TPLP 3’, printed on it.

Probable Tracklisting:

Side1 :Punk; Mind F***ers F***ing Minds; Hard Sell; Love Song; Mickey on Tuneoil

Side 2: Desire; Blood Lust Rite; The Falklands War

Side 3: Punk; Life We Make; Trouble at the Heart; The Sun (the Paper That Supports Our Boys and Rapes Our Girls; Shadow of Abuse; Very Funny

Side 4: Cure for the Coprolite

Flux of Pink Indians was an English anarchopunk band from Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, active between 1980 and 1986. This is the 1986 re-issue of their massively controversial second album from 1984. Regarding tracklisting, as mentioned, there are no track titles listed anywhere on sleeve or labels but I have included above the tracklisting as per the first issue. Please note I am selling loads of punk albums at the moment, including items by CRASS, Conflict, etc, and offer a good postage discount on multiple purchases - please see my Ts & Cs below for details.

Condition:

Outer sleeve: Very good + if not excellent overall condition; some light age browning along most edges and one or two foxing spots just inside the cover; top right corner has been bumped and has a light crease across it (mirrored on rear); barely any trace of overall wear, no trace of the edge imprints of the vinyl discs evident.

Inner sleeves: Both in excellent condition though for some reason one is age browned, the other still bright white; some light crumpling and imprint of the vinyl discs evident in places.

Vinyl: All four sides look excellent+, pretty immaculate actually; all labels also look pretty immaculate, with no spindle drag marks or wear to inner edge of holes.

Seller’s Terms & Conditions

My items

All the vinyl records which I have up for auction are my own personal possessions - I am selling to free up space. Unless stated, all the records were purchased new, most were taped shortly after purchase, so one or two plays at most, and the vinyl has been in storage since.

Condition assessment/‘grading’

All items have been visually assessed for condition under good lighting. Any specific possible issue will be checked by a limited ‘play test’. Please note though that most of the discs were taped shortly after purchase and the vinyl has been in storage since. So, none of the vinyl has been played at all since the 1990s, unless I mention an aforementioned ‘play test’ to check on a specific condition issue for this auction.

In my item description, I am not using any of the formal grading systems vinyl dealer’s use, I’m using my own judgement. In addition to my description, I would strongly urge potential buyers to study the photographs carefully - as these form an essential part of the condition report. All the photos were taken by me and are of the actual item – I absolutely do not use stock photos. Please look at my feedback for recent vinyl sales!

Matrix/run-out details

In some cases, I have included alphanumeric matrix information from the run-out/‘dead wax’, as far as I can make it out – these numbers/letters can be very difficult to decipher in some cases. I appreciate that collectors may need exact details of matrix ‘variants’, so if further information or clarification is needed please message me through ebay and I will do what I can to provide what you need.

P&P charges (UK buyers):

P&P charge is £4.95 for Royal Mail’s standard ‘Tracked 48’ service. For an additional 70p per item, I can send up to five LPs in a mailer (NB double albums count as two LPs). Please note that when buyers win more than one item but pay for each item along with its P&P charge separately, I get charged a transaction fee for each!! Therefore, for multiple purchases, please await an invoice from me before paying, then I get charged for just a single transaction.

For a P&P charge of £5.95 the buyer can choose to opt for Royal Mail’s enhanced ‘Tracked 48 with Signature’ service. Again, for an additional 70p per item, I can send up to five LPs in a mailer (NB double albums count as two LPs). Please note that when buyers win more than one item but pay for each item along with its P&P charge separately, I get charged a transaction fee for each!! Therefore, for multiple purchases, please await an invoice from me before paying, then I get charged for just a single transaction.

For a P&P charge of £8.95 – recommended for particularly valuable items or items required quickly - the buyer can choose to opt for Royal Mail’s ‘Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm’ service. Again, for an additional 70p per item I can send up to five LPs in a mailer (NB double albums count as two LPs). Please note that when buyers win more than one item but pay for each item along with its P&P charge separately, I get charged a transaction fee for each!! Therefore, for multiple purchases, please await an invoice from me before paying, then I get charged for just a single transaction.

Overseas buyers:

ebay will use their Global Shipping Programme, so I have no control over costs above and beyond my stated P&P charge. Please be aware that exports outside of the UK may incur local Tax and Duty, so please check with your local Customs Office and I do not accept any responsibility for any such charges.

Payment method/payment timescale:

PAYPAL preferred but any electronic payment method which ebay accepts is OK. Please ensure your details are up to date. I accept no responsibility if the buyer’s delivery address is not up to date and will not issue a refund in such a case.

I would very much appreciate prompt payment by successful buyers, preferably as soon as possible after the end of the auction please. Please be aware that I will wait a maximum of 48 hours after auction end without payment or any communication from buyer before I cancel the transaction and relist. However, I am happy to wait if a buyer wants to try and win a few items in order to combine them in one parcel (and gain a postage discount) – simply communicate with me through ebay if this is the case.

Cleaning & Packaging:

All vinyl has been carefully wiped with an anti-static cloth lightly sprayed with Spincare ‘record cleaner for vinyl records’. Items will be robustly packaged to avoid damage in shipping. Each vinyl disc will be inside a brand new, good quality anti-static poly inner sleeve, rather than being inside the original inner sleeve and cover, this to avoid seam splits in transit. The disc - inside its new poly inner sleeve - will be separated from its original inner sleeve and its original outer cover and all will be inside a brand new polythene outer record 'sleeve'. This will then be inside a brand new good quality (corrugated/double wall) cardboard vinyl mailer. The mailer will be also packed with at least one brand new good quality (corrugated/double wall) card stiffener to provide extra protection.
