Per Wikipedia, Garcia is  guitarist 's first solo album, released in January 1972.  Warner Brothers Records offered the Grateful Dead the opportunity to cut their own solo records.  Garcia was more of a solo effort, as Garcia played all the instrumental parts save the drums.  Considered a showcase for Garcia's work on electric and pedal steel guitar, Garcia is considered more electric and  than then-recent Grateful Dead albums, balancing  and  material on the first side with  and  pieces on the second side. Jerry described the record as a lighthearted project.  The recording up for sale is a 1972 release by WB Records that was manufactured at Columbia Records' Terre Haute pressing facility.  It consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 40 minutes. The cover is in VG condition for a 50+ year old album.  It does show mild disc wear on the front and back covers and there is wear on the lower left corner.  There are no split seams, bent corners, tears or markings on the covers. (see photos).  The paper inner sleeve is not original but has been replaced with a new heavy paper sleeve for protection.  The recording has been cleaned and tested using Audacity.  All tracks are free of skipping.  The sound is very clear and crisp and there is very little background noise.  On testing, I detected one or two "clicks" on the entire recording.  The record surfaces show mild use with no evidence of scratches or scuffs and the record faces still retain their gloss.  All labels are clean and intact.
