The late, great Leonard Cohen's brilliant and timeless debut album from 1967 as a 1st UK pressing on the CBS Records label (SPBG 63241)
Some of Cohen's finest songs appear on this album....'Suzanne', 'Sisters of Mercy', 'Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye'....I could list them all in fact!  Produced and arranged by John Simon, 'Songs of Leonard Cohen' immediately established the Montreal poet as one of the most original and compelling lyricists of his day.  

Cover:  Excellent....the glass-like lamination to the front cover somehow makes the sepia photograph of Cohen appear even more tragic and resigned.  Some inoffensive creases and bubbling to the lamination appear along the spine but this is a much better preserved example compared to others I've seen.  The back is very clean and is fixed with a "Stereo" sticker at the top right corner due to the cover having been printed for the Mono version.  
Original CBS Records Inner-Sleeve: Excellent(minus)....quite difficult to find the original inner-sleeve still intact with this 1st UK issue.   Well preserved but does have some writing at the bottom of one side.  Small split at bottom center.  A higher quality inner-sleeve will be provided. 
Record: Near Mint(minus) ....incredible like-new shine to both sides.  Labels are nearly flawless with a only a few spindle traces visible at an angle.  The record has good weight and the audio is outstanding. ...clear, detailed, balanced, and distortion-free.  Only a few light ticks at the start of 'Master Song' prevent me from giving this record a full Near Mint grade.
