Per Wikipedia, Outlandos d'Amour (Outlaws of Love) is the debut studio  by British  band , released on 17 November 1978 by . Elevated by the success of its lead single, "", Outlandos d'Amour peaked at No. 23 on the . The album spawned two additional hit singles: "" and "Although Outlandos d'Amour received mixed reviews upon its release, it has since been regarded as one of the strongest debut albums. Rolling Stone ranked it as the 38th best debut album of all time and the 428th .  The band had originally wanted to name the album Police Brutality. However, after hearing "Roxanne" and then envisioning a more romantic image for the band, they proposed Outlandos d'Amour instead. This title is a loose French translation of "Outlaws of Love", with the first word being a combination of the words "outlaws" and "commandos", and "d'Amour" meaning "of love". It was  by the RIAA in 1981 for sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States, and in 1984, the album attained platinum certification after shipping one million units.  The album up for bid is a 1979 release on the A&M Record label and was manufactured at RCA's Indianapolis pressing facility.  It consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 38+ minutes.  The cover is in VG condition with mild wear along the edges and bottom corners.  There is mild wear along the top front cover and bottom of the back cover.  There are no split seams, tears or creases and the photos and graphics show no discoloration.  The back cover contains track listings and some production information.  The paper inner sleeve is original and intact with a black & white photos of the group on both sides.  The recording is free of skips and there is very little noise consisting of occasional mild "clicks" most often in the quiet spaces between tracks.  I did detect a single mild "click" on Side 2, track 3 (Born In The 50's) that did not interfere with the music.  The sound is clean and strong.  The record surfaces show only mild superficial wear no obvious scratches or scuffs.  The surfaces retain their gloss and all labels are clean and intact. By Goldmine standards for grading records, this particular recording would be considered VG+.

I always clean, listen and test every record using Audacity that I list on EBAY. I do this in insure that I can give as accurate a description for each album I list. I also try to follow the Goldmine standards on grading records. I do this as a service to the buyer, as well as, to maintain my own reputation.
