New Race were formed in 1981 by Ron Asheton from the Stooges, Dennis Thompson from the MC5 and 3 members of Radio Birdman and this short lived band completed a 17 date tour of Australia's east coast. This live album was taken from 2 of these incendiary gigs at Manly Vale hotel and Sgt Peppers and consists of songs by all 3 bands. Released in 1989 by Revenge Records (catalogue number MIG 9)The record is in excellent condition and plays really nicely with no surface noises apparent, there is one slight surface mark but this does not diminish the sound whatsoever. The sleeve is in excellent condition as is the inner sleeve which has an interview with Ron Asheton on it.
