In 1973, Warner Bros. Records released a 4 LP Boxed compilation of various artists intitled SUPERSTARS OF THE 70'S.  The collection of artists represented in this compilation recorded on multiple labels that were part of the Warner Bros. Record umbrella organization and contain each individual artist's biggest hits.  The 4 LP consist of a combined 49 recordings from 41seperate artists and include some their biggest hits recordings of the 70's.  I am the original owner of this promotional package that was purchased in 1973.  The cover consist of a boxed cardboard container with 4 individual LP records.  The box has seen mild to moderate wear.  The top cover shows wear with two split corners on the right front corner.  There is mild wear along the edges but no other defects to the top cover.  The bottom cover is in VG+ condition with few signs of wear.  The track listings are shown on the front and back covers.  The color and graphics show no sign of discoloration.  Each record is enclose in a paper inner sleeve that are original and intact.  The inner sleeves are plain paper with no photos or graphics.  The recordings were cleaned and tested using Audacity.  All tracks are free of skips and there is only mild background noise that does not interfere with the music. The record surfaces are free of signiificant abnormalities, such as scratches and scuffs.  There is evidence of mild superficial wear, but the sound remains clear and strong.  All labels are clean and intact.  This is a very nice collection of hits from 40+ individual artists that were prominent during the early 1970's.

I always clean, listen and test every record using Audacity that I list on EBAY. I do this in insure that I can give as accurate a description for each album I list. I also try to follow the Goldmine standards on grading records. I do this as a service to the buyer, as well as, to maintain my own reputation.
