For Eliminator, he increased the  and used more  and , producing a "tighter" album with a steady, driving beat.  Music videos for "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Legs" received regular  on  and helped ZZ Top gain popularity with a younger base. The videos make you smile, the record runs you over. That's the pleasure of it."  A number of ZZ Top fans reacted negatively to the album. The prominent use of synthesizers and drum machines marked a significant change for ZZ Top.  However, the album attracted many new listeners, including teenage girls for the first time, and many teenage boys.  Retrospective opinions are largely positive, praising ZZ Top's ability to match the spirit of the times.  IMHO, (if you like good hard rockin' like I do, you can't go wrong with the Top".) The album up for sale is a 1983 release on the Warner Bros. label that was distributed under licence to the RCA  Music Service as a club edition and was pressed by Specialty Record Corp.  It consists of 11 tracks with a run time of 45 minutes. The cover is in VG condition with mild wear along the edges and upper left corner.  There are no split seams or bent corners. There are hints of disc wear on the front and back covers.  The colorful "iconic" front cover shows no sign of discoloration and the back cover graphics include track listings and some production information.  The paper inner sleeve is original and intact and in VG+ condition.  The recording is free of skips and there is very little background noise.  The sound is strong and clean.  The record surfaces are without fault.  As the original owner of this recording, I can attest to its limited number of plays (less  than 10).  The surfaces retain their gloss and there are few signs of wear on the record surfaces.  All labels are clean and  intact.  This is a VG+/EX recording.
