Deep Medi regular Gantz has developed a spotless reputation for subverted bass treatments but "Spry Sinister" is unlike anything he's ever done before. In fact it's unlike anything anyone has ever done before; swaying on a warped triplet riddim, the seasick groove is compounded by a paranoid vocal loop that persists with hypnotic venom. "Rising", a co-lab with El Mahdy Jr, sees Gantz tapping into his Eastern roots with a string-heavy half-stepper that's coated with mystic prayer calls and an unnervingly rich bottom end.
