Grading-Vinyl: EX+, Visually this LP is no worse than Near Mint and some would grade as Mint, therefore no Jumps , Skips or Damage, Plays with bold Sound, Loud, Heavy and in the main Plays Nr Mint to Mint, being over critical light background noise in intro's to each side and between tracks, once Music Kicks in all is superb but feel an EX+ grading is right.
CBS 'RED' centres are free from any rips or writing, spindle wear at a minimum and NO damage to centre hole, as new.
Grading-Sleeve/Inserts: NEAR MINT, Deserving of a Near Mint grading, no rips, splits , writing or damage to Sleeve, Title Spine as new.Hard to fault but a couple of light lines/ impressions on front cover.
Further Info: UK Original 10 Track with an A1, B2 Matrix and the " Utopia" mastering stamps all housed in a Non Barcoded Sleeve.
**We have seen lots of these copies editions being passed off as 1982 Originals, we may be wrong ( please let us know if we are) but we believe the catalogue number 32712, Columbia Red Labels and the Plain inner Sleeve all point to this being the first CBS re-print from 1986, this should however not detract that this LP has been honestly graded as above, and therefore a very very nice copy , maybe not the first but certanly a quality early edition.
