This listing is for (2) 16" vinyl records from the Armed Forces Radio Service of the U.S. Government.

Includes the original shipping box addressed to Miss Marilyn Nash. Marilyn Nash was an American Actress born in 1926 and who died in Oroville, Ca in 2011. She played in the movie "Monsieur Verdoux" with Charlie Chaplin in 1947. Not a well known actress, but a Hollywood actress none-the-less. These records were bought at an auction in 2014 in Chico, Ca, approximately 23 miles from Oroville, CA where Marilyn Nash lived and died. The label on the box that is addressed to her has been colored over with crayon.

The records themselves have not been tested because I have no way to test them. They do not appear to have any scratches on them, though they are dusty and linty. I am going to let the winner of this auction do the cleaning and dusting of the records.

Both records are labeled "This Is The Story" but each has it's own story.

The first record is "The Golden Bullet" and subtitled "American Salute." There are two versions of this movie, but I believe that this one has to be the American western  version made in 1917.

The second record is "The Big White Bird" and subtitled "Brotherhood." I could not find any information about this one.

I do not know the year that these records were made or ordered. The original box is part of the auction and will not be used for postage.
