We got "Read My Lips" from the A&M rep at KQOT in 1978. I read the warning label (see picture) and rushed home to preview it (I was musical director at the station). While nothing would fit our format I really liked the LP and kept it, playing it very infrequently over the years. Vinyl still looks new and shiny. Jacket has shelf wear (nothing major) and has warning label, promotion label and hole punched in upper right corner. Inner sleeve has really cool picture of Tim, track listing and extensive personnel credits (Lee Michaels, Nils Lofgren, Joe Venuti, and many more).
I believe Fearless was a follow-up to Tim's 1978 "Read My Lips". This promo copy came into KQOT in 1979 but by then the station was in a format change so I "rescued" it before the new owner threw it in the trash or gave it to a thrift shop. I had so many LPs at the time (The old owner told me to take home any of the station's large collection before they "went away") that I never got it out of its jacket! Jacket, inner sleeve and disc are in great condition. I don't believe the record has ever been played. "Funky" spot on back of jacket (see picture) is not wear...it is the A&M promo stamp.
