Konk, "Soka-Loka-Moki" RARE and highly-prized private label/no label 45, distributed by the always interesting folks at 99 Records in NYC. With a customized outer sleeve -- stamped (very DIY). Otherwise, the sleeve is plain white. The sleeve is Mint-minus. The vinyl is Mint-minus. And the VERY hip labels are Mint-minus, as well. Play-graded. Strict grading. These avant horn funk-rockin' guys were clearly into Fela and Afro-pop decades before it became fashionable, and it impacts their club instrumental sounds in a most hip way.
