VINYL: NM (my top grade). BOUGHT NEW BY ME, PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE. PLAY GRADED. SOUNDS AS GOOD TODAY AS THE DAY IT ROLLED OFF THE RECORD PRESS.  VINYL HAS THOSE LIGHT, SUPERFICIAL SCUFFS THAT MOST NEW RECORDS SEEM TO COME WITH THESE DAYS. THEY DO NOT AFFECT THE PLAYBACK.

PLEASE READ THIS:

I do not use 'mint' as a vinyl grade- I've never seen a record that doesn't have some manner of minute imperfection, even if it's only a finger print- it's the nature of vinyl.

NM is my top grade. I rarely use EX.

Do not be put off by my vinyl grade of 'VG+'. It has sadly been much misused on ebay (I know- I've bought too many so-called 'VG+' records that were 'G' at best!) If you buy a VG+ record from me it will be enjoyable to listen to, not riddled with snap, crackle and pop!

I grade vinyl conservatively and only send out records that I would be happy to receive myself.




I play grade (where stated) on a Linn Sondek LP12 turntable fitted with a Linn Akito tone arm and a Dynavector 10 X 5 moving coil cartridge. I use a Dynavector P75 phono stage. My amplifier is a Naim Nait XS and the speakers are PMC 20/23s. It is a high quality system with a very lively sound and hence very revealing. Any imperfections in the sound may well be less obvious on more standard equipment. I will listen to the end of some tracks, the dead wax in between tunes, and the intros to get an overall feel for the playback. I will also listen to any obvious marks to find out whether or not they cause any noise. I will NOT have listened to the entire record.


I invoice with signed for / recorded delivery for both UK and overseas bidders as I cannot be held responsible for mistakes made by the postal service here, or abroad.

I will always combine postage to save you money.

At my discretion I will send by cheaper methods if requested, but there is nothing I can do if records go missing in these circumstances. I hope you understand.

I always obtain proof of postage.
