Here's a super rare copy of Further Seems Forever's "The Moon Is Down" originally released on Dead Droid Records in 2001, on the cheapest, thinnest damned vinyl you have ever heard of. This black LP was 1 of 1,000, & it seems like no one wants to ever give up their copies, so this is a rare opportunity to own some early Chris Carrabba, & a record which is now considered to be an Emo classic. The vinyl pressing also features an exclusive bonus track cover of Weezer's "Say It Ain't So."

Ok. Starting with the good. So the vinyl jacket & inner sleeve are NM (though I am not a record grader), with only a slight, barely visible bend in the bottom front corner, & even smaller one on the back top left corner (see photos).

Now. The bad. As I mentioned, this record was pressed terribly, on super-thin vinyl. As a result, it is SLIGHTLY Warped. When you hold the record on a flat surface, or spin it on a turntable, you will see the light reflect off of it kind of wonky. The record plays through all the way on my turntable (but a flexible-arm, higher quality turntable/needle is probably a must-have... Crosley's won't cut it), with some audio imperfections as a result of the warping. There is also a noticeable ding on the LP that is audible on the song "Snowbirds and Townies," though the song doesn't stop or skip at all on my player.

So, if you want to own the history behind this amazing band/record, & aren't as concerned with the audio perfections of this notoriously bad pressing... By all means, have at it. Otherwise, no hard feelings... Just wait for a repressing or something.

If you are curious about the audio quality of this specific record, and want to see more evidence before bidding, I have created a brief video (which I can DM to you upon request) to see the effect of the warp on the song "New Year's Project."

I am doing my very best to offer full disclosure on the condition of the record, however, as a consequence, I cannot offer any returns.
