Mike Hugg

'Somewhere'

Polydor, UK, 1972

2393140

PREVIOUSLY A member of Manfred Mann and Chapter 3 who struck out on a solo career with this album. As with MM, Hugg showcased a keen ear for great songs, delicate harmonies and just the right amount of gritty country-fried rock.

Similar in sound and presentation to many rural prog bands such as East Of Eden, Gypsy, Byzantium and McGuiness Flint. Huggs modus operandi is very much cut from the same cloth in so much as he plays folky prog rock with a gritty, some might say dirty, rural vibe.

Pressing: Polydor, UK, 1972

Vinyl: Nice clean condition. No spindle marks and virtually no other signs of use. Grades as Ex+

Cover: Again, only the very faintest signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated textured gatefold cover. Firm corners (slightly rubbed on two edges), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Straight and uncrushed spine. Grades as a very nice Ex+

Inserts: None
