On offer here is a very early rare A1/B3 first press of Wish You Were Here.   I say very early due to the matrix numbers/mother stampers.  Visually the vinyl is in excellent condition with only the faintest of hairlines.  Having play tested the entire LP I can testify that whilst there is some background static on certain sections the audio overall plays very clearly and with no skips or jumps.
There is light crackle on Side One until the drums begin.  From there on the audio is of wonderful quality and any crackle you can hear is only extremely faint.  There are a couple of light clicks at the start of 'Welcome To The Machine' but apart from that it plays with a excellent clarity.  Yes a little crackle on this side more so at the beginning but in my opinion it isn't particularly obtrusive and overall a great listen for a first press.  
The audio on Side Two is similar to the first in that it plays with a little background noise.  I don't think however it gets in the way of the listening enjoyment and for a rare first press the audio is very clear.  'Wish You Were Here' does play extremely well for a quiet track with hardly any background static and by the time 'Shine On' begins the audio is stunning.  A little more crackle towards the end perhaps.  Maybe I have over stated the background noise but as my feedback testifies I grade honestly and consistently.  The sound quality on this LP in my opinion is excellent and Near Mint in places and is certainly in great condition for an LP that is now 40 years old.
The cover is one of the best I have seen as is the lyric inner.  There is only very slight age related marking and the edges are in a very clean condition.  Very slight wear on the opening edge.  The thin pinched spine is in excellent shape with no shelf wear at all.  This 'white cover' is often seen in a grubby state but not this one and has been very well looked after.  The reverse side looks even better.    
The heavy cardboard die cut lyric sleeve is in great condition and as per the first pressings the corners are cropped.  It has no marks at all and is fantastically clean.  It just has a little wear where the record has worn through on one side but is honestly not that obvious. 
The postcard (with serrated edges) is included and is practically 'as new'.
