I have never seen another of these as long as I have collected Smiths related memorabilia. This auction is for a 12" double A side promo for Sandie Shaw - Hand in Glove used to promote her Hello Angel album. Credited to Morrissey and Marr, produced by John Porter and remixed by Stephen Street, this 1988 release features a custom Rough Trade original promo sleeve and unique labels showing Sandie on one and an angel on another. The matrix# is an interesting "SAND 001 A1" (both sides) and is inscribed with a runout message of "Utopia London MS" (both sides) with the "U" in Utopia redrawn into a harp. Very rare issue with lots of little atypical idiosyncrasies that you just never seemed to see come from the Rough Trade camp.
Vinyl in excellent shape and looks unplayed. Sleeve looks excellent as well. No holes or cuts. Spine is strong. Slight splitting to inner/outer sleeve.
