Reviews of this Mobile Fidelity LP version of 'Pronounced'
From Steve Hoffman Forum - MFSL 1-400: Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced...) 180g LP
What the MFSL offers is a faithfully reproduced album that is livelier and plays quieter than the SOS. The drums sound better, acoustic guitar parts are crisper, and orchestrations are not competing for the listener's attention. The dynamics of all of the other instrumentation (electric guitars, keys, mandolins, harp and the trademark, ponderous bass parts) and Van Zant's singing match or surpass the original. This mastering job is perfectly balanced to these ears. The album has never sounded better to me. "Free Bird," spared no down time all these years on radio playlists, actually got me excited. That hasn't happened to me in decades. And all of this with no ear fatigue.
All of us purists love an original pressing, but to those who would like a super clean SOS but don't want the wallet-dent it will likely cause, I say fret not and go with the MFSL. You'll actually be getting a better quality record.

I listened to my MFSL copy last night. Sounds great to me. The vinyl is dead quiet and flat and plays beautifully. Highly recommended.

I've listened to the MFSL LP quite a few times. It is a winner.

From Audio Asylum - REVIEW: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab MFSL 1-400
MoFi's reissue of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Pronounced possesses all of those strengths and fixes whats wrong with the original pressing. ...I have SN 134 of MFSL 1-400 and the clarity, dynamics and sound quality are all above and beyond anything I had hoped for.

Just bought mine today and I am very happy with the sound, it has that WOW facter for sure. I have the "Sounds of the South" issue which sounds very good and also the "Music on Vinyl" issue which sounds even better. The new MFSL issue beats them both, they did a great job on this one.
