As is now expected from the label, Ghostly International come through with an absolutely stand-out release both in terms of music and concept. Some of the label's best known artists have come together to produce tracks for 'Hohokum', a new interactive video game. Even if you're not interested in the game itself, however, there are some true gems in here! Matthew Dear's "Pawn In The Game, for instance, sees the artist moving to newer and more pop-fuelled terrains compared to his previous techno sketches. Geoff White's "Wedding Party" is another stunner, where house and ambient are mixed up into perfect balance and complete unity. Proper chill-out music for the proper ear!
