Parisian deep house legend Jerome Pacman is back on the scene and we're pleased. This guy was really doing the business back in the '90s alongside other homegrown legends like Jef K and DJ Deep. He's collaborated previously with the likes of Chris Carrier and Tim Paris, so you know he's not messing about. First up "3 For You" has that classic Paris house sound: sexy, sleazy, bass driven.. and deep. "Tiwanku" dives even deeper, getting dreamy and atmospheric with trippy and immersive pads soaked in delay and supported by some serious funk in the bassline. On the flip we've also got "Quiet Understand" which goes for a more stripped and minimal composition where a basic but substantial rhythm backs some ethereal chords soaked in more delay and a great moment when those sultry female vocals come in.
