For sale are two original vinyls, now out of print, both in VG+ to EX condition (IMO- see the pics and be the judge- both play great too, for what that is worth).
Both records feature Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney with her earlier band, Heavens to Betsy. One is a split with Bratmobile, released sometime in spring or summer (I think?) in 1992 on K Records. This is long OOP, and pretty hard to find now. I don't think 'K' records exists anymore, either. (edit: QUICK UPDATE: I HAVE JUST RECENTLY (as in about 2 wks ago?) LEARNED THAQT K RECORDS DOES INFACT STILL EXUST! They have NOT gone under after all of these years, but this record IS out of print! But yay for longevity for indie labels, no matter the circumstances!)
Back to this specific record (or these!)....
Both the record and vinyl are in VG+ or EX shape as far as I can tell.
It features "My Secret" by Heavens to Betsy & "Cool Schmool" by Bratmoble. The cover shot is of Corin. It spins at 45rpm.
The other vinyl is just Heavens to Betsy, the "THESE MONSTERS ARE REAL" EP 7" which features one of their best songs, "Firefly". It is also in VG+ or EX shape. This was pressed and released on the KILL ROCK STARS label, sometime in 1993.
Both records play and look great and are long out of print. If you're a fan of Sleater-Kinney or bands alike, or simply looking to dig into their history, here are two gems. Get them in a 2-for-1 bargain price in a way (that Bratnobile split will go for $50 alone, so to nab both for my asking is a very nice deal if you look around... unless it has depreciated and I missed the memo!)
Good luck and I hope the eventual buyer enjoys them as much as I have. They've been very well-kept, too, if I did not mention. ;)
Thanks!... Any questions, please let me know.
