HERE is a first UK stereo pressing of King Crimson's excellent 1974 LP, Starless and Bible Black, on the pink rim island label.

This is a true first vinyl pressing with Robor textured gatefold sleeve, heavily grooved pink rim island labels and A2M/B3M matrices machine stamped with 'Sean + Ray' etched on side two.

The attractive pink rim island labels are in EX condition with no unwanted writing, no sticker residue and no tears, while close examination under light reveals very few traces of spindle marks, indicating very little play over the years. Both sides of the vinyl also look EX with only a very few of the lightest handling marks showing when examined under strong halogen light.

The textured gatefold sleeve is only in VG condition with lovely strong straight edges and no unwanted writing, no tears, no rips and no creases but suffering from general age-related foxing/staining (see photos).

Thanks for looking and good luck if you are bidding.

PLEASE NOTE: I carefully pack vinyl with records removed from covers.
