Four 20-track Tamla Motown hits compilation 12" vinyl records in excellent condition.

A collection of four hits compilation albums by the major Motown acts Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Jackson Five, the Temptations, and the Four Tops.

The Supremes, Jackson Five, and Temptations albums are titled ‘20 golden greats’ and were issued in 1980 (on the EMI / Tamla Motown label), whilst the Four Tops album is titled ‘The best of’ and dates from 1982 (on K-Tel / Tamla Motown).

Each album contains all the best known hits from the acts concerned through the 1960s and 70s – see photos for the track listings. (I can provide more information on the track listings if you wish to contact me directly.)

Each of the four records is in excellent condition, with no marks, scratches, warps or other damage. I have owned all of these albums from new and they have been played very little (having been taped for in-car listening), and have been stored unused for over 30 years. Though I now don’t have means to play and check the sound of the records in detail, my recollection is that there were no audible signs of damage to any of them.

The sleeves of all the albums are in excellent condition, with no significant creases, marks or other signs of wear. There are one or two extremely small creases in places (e.g. near the spine), but these are so few and so minimal that they do not detract from the appearance of the sleeves. The Supremes and Jackson Five albums have attractive artwork with a high gloss laminated finish. The artwork for the Temptations and Four Tops albums is considerably less appealing, but this is made up for by the quality of the music, which, as those familiar with the heyday of Motown hits will know, is all excellent.

If sent through the post, the albums will be very carefully packaged, but to minimise any risk collection would also be welcome (near Church Stretton, south Shropshire).
