Razorblade Suitcase is the second studio album by British Rock band Bush, released on 19 November 1996. It was the follow up to their Multi-Platinum album Sixteen Stone[MOVLP1292] and debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, selling 293,000 copies during its first week of release in the US.
The album includes songs like "Greedy Fly", "Swallowed", and "Mouth". "Swallowed" was placed first in the Modern Rock Tracks of 1996.
Bush hired producer Steve Albini and Vaughan Oliver, the designer behind Surfer Rosa, to do the artwork. Albini has helped make the band sound tougher, simply by stripping away the layers of effects and concentrating on a hard, driving rhythm and stop-start dynamics.
