What a great find for 80s vinyl collectors, jukebox owners or anyone that loves vinyl! You will be buying a lot of 12 45RPM 7 inch singles from the 80s. These appear to be old stock from a jukebox distributor and were part of a large lot of vinyl I recently purchased. These are all pop/rock/crossover hits and most appear to be from the mid to late 80s when CDs were pushing vinyl and traditional jukeboxes out of production. Because of the era, most are probably relatively scarce compared to singles pressed before digital became all the rage.
PLEASE READ:
The photos are typical of what I've seen in the large selection I purchased, but yours will be randomly picked (not necessarily the exact ones in the photos here). No duplicates in the lot of 12, but please understand I cannot guarantee no duplicates if you buy more than one lot--I believe I have over 100 different titles and many copies of each, so if you want me to put a custom lot together for you, let me know and we will work something out with a custom Buy It Now auction for you. A few more important things:
Most will have their original picture sleeves, but some may be in a new, generic white sleeve Vinyl Condition: Most look to be un-played but I am listing condition as EX to VG++. Some have minor surface marks, scuffs and the usual pressing defects from the era. I picked several out to play test and they played at least VG++, most way better. A few had some surface noise on the lead in. A good cleaning will probably do wonders for these and is highly recommended after 30 years of warehouse storage! I only lightly cleaned the ones I play tested with distilled water and would expect even better results with a thorough wash! Sleeve Condition: Not all will have original sleeves (most do). For those that have original sleeves they are VG to EX condition. Some have torn corners, creases, stains etc. from 30 years in storage but most still display nicely as you can see in the photos). Cool Extra: Some of these have the original jukebox label inside the sleeve. I can't guarantee this in your lot, but I have seen it in about 1/4 of the ones I've gone through so a nice free extra may show up in your lot. Thanks for looking/reading! I have a bunch of these and decided to sell them in lots. If you are interested in buying a larger lot, let me know and I will put a custom lot together and set it up as a Buy It Now Auction for you.
PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS they include some rare and unusual pieces all at great prices. Buy more than one and save on shipping!
Record Grading: I visually grade under intense lighting and do my best to assign a conservative rating.
Mint: A brand new, SEALED record, never played.
NM: Near Mint. A record that has been opened but would have only minor if any visible flaws.
EX: Excellent. Light cosmetic flaws that should not affect the sound.
VG+: May have cosmetic flaws, mild surface noise or short patches of ticking, but should sound fine overall.
VG: May have moderate noise throughout or one or two bad patches from scratches. Still fine for general listening and often a great value.
Good: Likely to be noisy, but should still be playable. You probably wouldn't want a common recording at this grade, but it can be an affordable way to own rare, unusual or historical pieces.
Shipping:
Unless otherwise noted: $4.00 US Media Mail for the first record. I will combine shipping. $1.00 for each additional record.
