Rarely found Edison ELECTRIC DIAMOND DISC RECORD #52422
"MY BLACKBIRDS ARE BLUEBIRDS NOW" and "TWELVE O'CLOCK WALTZ" by Billy Murray & Walter Scanlan.
This record is a REAL FAVORITE of mine as it features TWO of the BEST early Edison recording artists SINGING and SPEAKING together.
TWELVE O'CLOCK WALTZ is especially poignant as both Murray and Scanlan (who are near the end of their recording careers at the time of this recording) reflect in song and in speaking on the old days just as the clock strikes midnight.
Both sides are simply magnificent recordings and play great on my modern turntable with light weight tonearm.
There are numerous light (mostly) scratches and scuffs on both sides that do not detract from enjoyment of this hard to find and delightful Edison record.
