This is an extremely rare first pressing mono Elvis Presley vinyl LP titled "Elvis’ Golden Records" on the RCA Victor label catalog number LPM 1707, released in 1958. This record jacket has the LP title in blue with no song titles on the cover (see picture) which indicates that it is a first pressing. Later pressings had the title in white with song titles on the cover.
This record was pressed on extra thick vinyl. It is in excellent condition with only a few minor scuffs and marks on the surface. This record does make typical sounds that you might expect to hear on a 57 year old vinyl record such as light surface noise and occasional light pops but there are no skips. This remains a great sounding record at high volume.
The outer jacket is very good with some minor wear at the corners and opening. There are no seam splits on the jacket. The record label is in excellent condition with minor turntable spindle marks around the center hole (see pictures).
The inner paper
sleeve with pictures of other RCA releases of the period has seam splits but is
in otherwise perfect condition.
This is a nice record very suitable for framing.
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
Shipping to the USA will be via USPS Media Mail.
