LED ZEPPELIN III A5 / B7 Atlantic 2401022 UK 1970 RED/PLUM Label
This early UK pressing on the famous red/plum label has the incorrect 'Celebration' credit on the label when it should be 'Celebration Day' of course.  The publishing credits are 'Warner Bros. Music'.
It has the famous Aleister Crowley quotes  'Do what thou wilt' and 'So mote it be' etched on the run out grooves.  The rotating wheel still works perfectly on the gatefold.

Visual grading

Under a strong bright light I can see a few faint hairlines and a couple of small fine scratches but definitely not feelable.  There is some spindle wear but not an excessive amount and the overall look of the vinyl is one that has been looked after very well.
Play grading

The classic 'Immigrant Song' plays with incredible power and clarity and is a high quality listen with barely any interference.  What a start to this classic album!  'Friends' has a little non-intrusive static at the beginning but this soon dissipates and then has very clear audio with perhaps just  a hint of distortion on the top end.  There is a little crackle at the end.  'Celebration Day' has a little 'background' for the first few seconds and then plays with great power and clarity.  The bluesy 'Since I've Been Loving You' has some light crackle but is so much background that it does not interfere with the audio and there are no clicks or pops at all.  A minor amount of distortion again but hey this is Led Zeppelin we're talking about!  'Out On The Tiles' ends Side One with excellent sound.  There is more obvious distortion as is often the case with this track.  The end guitar section plays superbly with no interference whatsoever.
'Gallows Pole' plays with wonderful quality throughout with only light static on the quiet intro.  From then on the clarity is of the highest order and you won't find many better versions.  'Tangerine' again plays with excellent clarity but there is some crackle in the quieter sections but no clicks or pops at the beginning but the remainder plays very clearly with only light background static in the quieter sections, and I do mean very much in the background.  'That's The Way' has a couple of light clicks at the start and 5/6 later on which is a shame as the actual audio is of an exceptional standard and plays extremlely clearly.  'Bron-y-aur Stomp' has faint crackle at the beginning and then plays with stunning 'foot stomping' quality.  There is great warmth and depth on this track and again rarely have I heard better.  The final track 'Hats off to (Roy) Harper' has no issues other than light background static here and there and is another quality listen.
Gatefold cover
This laminated E.J. Day gatefold is one that was printed in Germany as per the credit on the back cover.  It remains in excellent condition and has very little shelf wear and the rotating wheel still works perfectly well.  The edges are very clean and there is only a small amount of rubbing on the bottom edges near the corner.  The wide spine is in excellent shape also and only has a minor area of wear in the centre but it remains 100% legible.  The inside of the gatefold is in superb condition and the back cover is also very clean with only a couple of small marks.  The laminate itself is in superb condition and has no splits or lifting apart from that very small area on the spine.  This really is a very clean gatefold for its age.
Poly-lined inner sleeve
Included is a plain white poly-lined inner sleeve which is in excellent condition.  There are no splits, only some very light creasing.
The labels
They are both in great condition with no marking or writing, just some spindle wear.
