Funk/Rare Groove

Side 1. Super Black Side 2. Is It Really That Bad

Originally out in a distant but very relatable 1971, what we have here is perhaps one of the rarest funk 7"s that has ever graced our charts. No lies, no exaggerations. This two-track beauty by Everyday People, out through the timeless Forte label way back when, has been the dream of many a digger, and it's kind of surprising that we're sat here writing this review while the record is still in stock. "Super Black" is a monstrously rolling funk gem that's adaptable to any sort of room or dancefloor, backed by those majestic vocals, and "Is It Really That Bad" acts as the neat instrumental to top it all off. We know the A-side has been remastered from the original tapes, while the B-side might be a direct lift from one of the few original copies in existence. Either way, you ain't gonna find it anywhere else.
